Stamps and Envelopes

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN!!!! Sending me a letter asking me if I would like money for envelopes or stamps is pointless, considering I always need money for envelopes and stamps. I will be unable to write you back confirming my need for envelopes and stamps. And I would always love visits-Mr. Neumann coming to you from cell block #6

NO NEWS IS NOT ALWAYS GOOD NEWS

Micah now has his whole pod to himself. They have segregated him from all the other prisoners. I was very upset when I heard this and started throwing a fit. He finally convinced me there was no one in Coconino County jail that he was really interested in talking to anyway so leave it alone.

I just know how Micah is and he is a social butterfly. He loves people, but says he is much happier keeping to himself and reading and writing. He is broke and if you have written to him and not received a reply he is rationing his stamps. We are working on it.

ANOTHER WEEKEND GONE

Yesterday was "half-hour day" as Micah calls it. He calls us twice instead of just once. It is so nice to talk to him a little bit longer. He is very excited about the fact that his girlfriend came to visit and his best friend has been able to get a schedule change at work to visit him the past couple of weeks.

His brothers are awesome about checking on him and making sure he has visits and money. He is doing a lot of writing so that requires lots of stamps and paper. He writes the size of an ant, I kid you not I have to use glasses to read his poems he sends me. He does not want to use all of his paper. Rick will not even try to read them until I translate them to big people print.

Just a reminder that Wed. at three is his update hearing. Hopefully the rich kids lawyer is finally back in town and we can get some action. Don't know if it is being dragged out on purpose, but we really don't have any say in the whole thing.
